As an inaugural board member of TeenSHARP, a nonprofit college preparatory program for promising low-income students in Camden and Philadelphia, Lionel led efforts to fund the organization’s early college tours with students, while also publishing seasonal op-eds in the New York Times around undergraduate student success.
